The break-up of Genesis and Hyundai

What do Audi and Genesis have in common?  One man- Peter Schreyer, the highly revered auto designer that sketched the original Audi TT design became one of three presidents of the Hyundai-Kia Motor Group and served as head of design for Genesis.  Though he may not be as well known as local high desert residents, Apple Valley Mayor-Scott Nassif, or our very own Service Advisor, Bruce “The Hitman” Warren; you might think of him as the Van Gogh of the auto industry with the Midas touch on vehicle design.  This quick read will discuss the unique design aspects of Genesis, the surprising leadership behind the brand, and why Genesis is more than just luxury.
 

The Surprising Leadership

 

The question that plagues the internet and surrounds Genesis centers on who Genesis is as a brand.  Is it reliable? Is it luxury? Is the brand equivalent to Lexus, BMW, Audi, and Mercedes?
